ALLCOCK Family - Wormegay
« on: Friday 19 November 04 22:21 GMT (UK) »

I am researching the decesendants of James ALLCOCK b.1817 in Wormegay, Norfolk, d.19/4/1883 (grave in Wormegay chruch yard), who married (1) Anna Maria Whitby b.1821 Shouldham, Norfolk d. 14/3/1870 and (2) Susan Adderson b. 1825 Shouldham, m. Dec 1870. James' gravestone states that he worked for W. G. (William Gibson) Hoff Esq of Park Farm, Wormegay for 40 years.

James' parents were ? ALLCOCK b. 1769 Wormegay, Norfolk who m. 1793 Elizabeth ? b. 1773 Wormegay, Norfolk.

James' child is:

James ALLCOCK b.1846 in Wormegay, Norfolk who moved to Middlesex and became a Police Constable in London, m. Ann (Berry? TBC) b. 1847 Flamborough, Yorkshire.

Any help would be appreciated.

TIA
