Can anyone please help with a look up Duncan Campbells family, born in 1803 in
Fort William. We are interested in parents, siblings and a possible marriage to
Margaret "Peggy" McIntyre (also born in Fort William in 1810.
Any help greatfully received.

Many thanks but we don't believe that these are "our" people. We have a good trace for them back through the censuses to Durness in 1841. They're in Aberdeen in 1851 & 1861 and it's there that they say that they come from Fort William. We like to follow them back, so we need help with OPR's for the Fort William area.

One of the children's christening entries has father Duncan registered as such:
JAS ANDERSON CAMPBELL Christening: 03 OCT 1833 Durness, Sutherland, Scotland. Parents: Father: DUNCAN CAMPBELL OR MCKAY Mother: PEGGY MC INTYRE
This opens up your search options for his birth entry if it appears on the ORPs. There are also two marriage entries on the OPRs which might also provide some clues:
1. 7/11/1829 CAMPBELL DUNCAN NAME NOT GIVEN/MCINTYRE/FR271 M Kilmore and Kilbride /ARGYLL 523/ 0020 0154
2. 16/02/1833 CAMPBELL DUNCAN PEGGY MCINTYRE/FR231 M Durness /SUTHERLAND 048/ 0020 0029
Probably the second is more likely given the birth of the children in Durness.
Your other option is to look at Duncan's death cert. He was alive in Aberdeen in the 1861 census. His death cert would confirm the name of his parents if known to the informant who reported his death. I cannot see a death entry for Margaret/Peggy between 1855-61 so she may be more difficult for you to confirm her parents' names if she died before the start of official registration in 1855.

To help you narrow down the death search period, Duncan is still alive in 1871. This entry is from the 1871 index, I think relationships within the household have been transcribed in error but I will leave as is:

Yes, we've picked up on the marriage in Durness and looked at the original through ScotlandsPeople. Interestingly she was a widow at 23 and we've found the previous marriage at 18!
We think the 1871 census has been mistranscribed. If you look at the original we think that it's two "households" with Duncan living on his own (we'd be interested in your opinion on this). Certainly the other Campbells don't seem to fit into the family, unless their nieces.
We looked for deaths but couldn't find any. As you probably know ScotlandsPeople doesn't have a very good search engine on the indexes and it gets expensive just "casting around"!
Our feeling is that Duncan would have probably died in Aberdeen, unless he went to stay with a family member for the last years of his life. You're right Peggy could have died before public registration - we hadn't thought of that. We'll have to do some local research for Aberdeen.
But the leads to Fort William are strong, so we still want to find some local contacts/expertise there to progress the family back.
