I'm trying to trace the roots of Stapleton CHEESEMAN, born circa 1787, possibly in Boughton (not under Blean). He may have links to Bapchild as Daniel Cheeseman, who married Ann Mardin (sic) in the parish in 1789 named one of his sons Stapleton (baptised 1800 in Sittingbourne). The elder Stapleton married Mary Howland in Throwley in 1809. Any help gratefully received - Waterhouse
