Remarriage to the same person in the 1800's
« on: Saturday 22 January 05 20:39 UTC (UK) »

I have 2 ancestral couples from Wrexham, unrelated at the time, that were married in the 1870's and then remarried in the 1890's. They both had families that started in the 1870's. Does anyone have information that this repeat of the ceremony was anything but reaffirmation of their love after a number of years?
