A good resource for Essex and Suffolk particularly Beccles is

The Foxearth and District Local History Society http://www.foxearth.org.uk/

There is a very extensive history of Beccles streets and lots of Newspaper transcriptions for the district.

I recently transcribed a list of Beccles Men who served in WWI which people might find interesting.

I hope you find it useful. I did.
