Now that, courtesy of Rockofages, we can put PC numbers to names, does anyone have the odd photo with force number showing or a group photo.
It would be great if we could match names to faces.

I have no photo's but I'd love to see some.  My gg grandfather and his brothers were police constables in Yorkshire.  They are:

David Alden
1871 - Layton
1881 - Melbourne
1891 - Eastrington

Charles Alden
1861 - Hornsea
1871 - Flamborough
1881 - Kilham

Henry Alden
1881 - Scarborough
1891 - Scarborough

If you find any photos or have any information I'd be very grateful.
