I am living in Australia an have just discovered i have a John STUBBERFIELD born arround 1823 in the county of Cambridge. I am hoping, as its quite an unusual name it will be easy to find him in the 1841/51/61/71 census before he mirated to Australia. any census returns for John (or his father job) would be very useful and very gratefully recieved.

On the site Cambridgeshire FHS Searchable databases
There is a list of Cambs emigrants who went to Victoria Austrailia during gold rush.And there is a John Stubbelfield born 1823 Cambs who emigrated so think the one we found above could be correct.
