Hello all,
Any help with the people on the section of tree attached would be appreciated.
Surname spelt Sones, Soans or Soanes. We have Benjamin and his wife living in Carlton Colville in the 1881 and 1901 censuses. We can't find their daughter on the 1881 census, she was just old enough to be living away from home as maid.

Hi Kris,
Thank you very much for that. It's given us an elder sibling we didn't know existed and a better idea of when they moved to Oulton (based on his birth). We don't think they were married until 1863, but need to check. I think there are now more images on FreeBMD (for years that were missing before), so I'll have another look.

Hi James I had a look at Frostenden in 1861 and could c no Castletons or similar...Tried Corton another nice small parish and found plenty of Soanes but not Benjamin so assume he is in married and in Lowerstoft which is huge and unfortunately not indexed....Here r the Soanes i found all within a few pages

Lots to look at, I've added all the addresses and siblings to our database.
The Sister in Law bit confused me for a while until I remembered that the eldest brother of Eliza Sparks (nee Soanes) was born before her parents were married and was therefore called Castleton.
I notice you have access to images of the 1881 census. On familysearch.org we've found Rosa Sonis aged 14 born Oulton living at 2, Pier Terrace, London Road, Lowestoft. Sonis is not a real surname as far as I know (there are 2 in the whole of the 1881 census). I wonder if this could be a mistranscribed Eliza Soanes. Could I be cheeky and ask you to look for me!
I don't think the 57 year old Elizabeth Soanes is ours, looking at the Soanes baptisms at: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~soanessoc/births_and_bapts_of_soanes.htm
the father of the children listed was William, not John.

Hi James Pity about Elizabeth I was sure she was yours... 
re Rosa it is either enumerated as Sonis or the dot is not meant to be a dot making it Soons Blow up enclosed which of course does not mean she is not yours just not enumerated correctly...All the Best Glad it has all Helped
