« on: Monday 29 January 07 16:47 GMT (UK) »

Hi I'm slowly getting all my family details into Family Tree Maker but one thing I need help on.
My aunt re-married after the death of her first husband, how do I enter her second marriage.

Hi Peter, you click on spouse under her name and you can add another one. It asks if you want to associate any children you have already entered with the new spouse.

On the version I have, you click on the "spouse" icon under the person's details, which brings up a box listing the exisiting spouse. In that box is an option for "create a new spouse" - click on that and follow through - worked for me in the reverse situation (uncle's second marriage)
