Hello Yonder

I can't give you specific advice but you will find the answer in a book published by Michael Gandy: Catholic Missions and Registers 1700-1880, volume 6, Scotland. It lists all known registers, the dates covered and their location as well as details of any transcriptions that might exists.

I don't know if the situation is different in Scotland but some English registers are still with the Parish Priest.

You can buy a copy from all good suppliers of genealogy books.
