Not to worry, can't be more specific.
Polly Sumner was born in 1912 in Hyde, Stockport, her Mother maiden name was Sherwin, also form Stockport. I know that Polly married a Mr Ridgway but I don't know Polly's parents. Was hoping to find one or two Sherwin families in the area and work on it from there. Oh well, back to the drawing board. Thanks V much anyway.
