Hi
I've hit a brick wall with this one -
a marriage date for John Hughes Mclauchlan b 31 may 1882, died 27 april 1952 tarbolton, Ayrshire
Ellen /Nellie/?Helen Alexander b 7 mar 1885 tarbolton, died TarB 25 jan 1971. the children I know of are these - James born ?Sorn 1907, Hugh 1909.
Also family tradition says that James also had an earlier family (or was it a second ? - hubby's family not too forth coming about these things - all a bit vague - and there were other children too in this other marriage). don't ask for more details of it because I've drawn a blank on it.
I do have the parents for both james mclauchlan and Ellen Alexander.
any help welcome on this one.

Hi

They married 8th March 1907, Masonic Hall, Tarbolton, after Banns according to the forms of the Church of Scotland. John is shown as 24 and a bachelor and Ellen, 22, a spinster.
