Hi. Just come across your post. I have just discovered a Helen Darry in my tree, born 1804 in Duns, Berwick, daughter of William Darry and Nelly Cockburn. I was just about to post a plea myself!! Any connection?

Hi,
I have quite a few Darries in my tree.
Jean Darrie was born in Edrom 1786 and married Robert Thorburn
Jean's parents were George Darrie 1757 and Jean Martin 1769.
George's parents were Alexander Darrie and Margaret Purves (married about 1749)
Alexander's parents were George Darrie and Agnes Middlemass both born about 1705 in Duns
I have quite a lot of information on Jean's and George's siblings but I've now come to a standstill.
If anyone has anything that could help it would be appreciated.

I have an Isabelle Purves married to William Clazy in Coldstream and I have an Agnes Middlemist or Middlemass married to George Claise in abt. 1750. William was a son of George and Agnes. Purves, Clazy, Middlemiss (various spellings) all lived in the same area.
