Hi
I am after the DOB or marriage of Joseph P Kennedy he married a Mary or Margaret. I am also after any children he had, I know he had a daughter Mary ann Hannah Kennedy born about 1841. Can anyone help me please.

As Mary Ann Hannah was born after 1837 she may well have been registered, though many were not.  You can search all the birth index on www.ancestry.co.uk and see if she shows up.  That will then give you an idea as to whether she ought to be on the 1841 census.   I assume you have her on a later census, or her marriage.  Can you quote the details for us?  I cannot find her in 1851 at the moment.

I happen to have a hodge-podge of Cumberland Kennedy info in my data files...and I found a possible match for your Joseph Kennedy [based on 1841 census data as per post by down-under] - baptised 12 MAY 1816   Bewcastle, Cumberland s/o a William and Mary Kennedy - the same family had another Joseph bapt two years earlier in 1814 - so presumably that one died.
