It's the only one that fits the marriage cert

If you look at this map, Dumfries, Torthorwald, Lochmaben and Applegarth are in a diagonal line (I hadn't noticed that before  Smiley ):

Here ya go, Joe - i had to chase a sheep out of the garden!

Marriage 5 Feb 1892, Dryfesdale:

James Currie, van driver, aged 27, Bach, Townhead St, Lockerbie. Parents - James Currie and mary Baird (*** for us)

Janet Renwick Grieve, dom serv, aged 25 or 28, sp, Bankshill Terrace, Lockerbie.  Parents - Robert Grieve, railway platelayer (dec)  and Marion Thorburn

The IGI should throw up this family and siblings.

St Mungo is between Dryfesdale and Hoddom - and I've found a Robert, aged 26, in both parishes in the 1861  - 820 2 6 and 829 2 21

added - most likely to be the Dryfesdale one

Sadly the 1871 doesn't have Robert at home but again doesn't say that Marion is a widow:

East Street, Lochmaben
Marion Grieve, hd, 32, Pauper, b. Lochmaben
Janet, d, 8, b. Lochmaben
Jane, 5, b. Lochmaben

I'll see if I can find a death for Robert

I've had another look at the marriage cert - it could be Grace or Jane the 'J's are written   above the line like Is and Gs  Undecided  I read it as Jane.
