Wife Catherine Ward
Lived at 18 Bridge Street Dumbarton In 1910
50 Townsend Road Dumbarton when he died in 1936

Hello
Seems strange that he was in Dumbarton 1910 & died there, as the only marriage I can find is
John Mitchell to Catherine Ward Mar Q 1915 registered in Lambeth volume 1d page 423
Do you have an occupation for this chap? as, on the 1901 census, there is a John Mitchell born Scotland c1862 & a boarder in Hanover Sq, London ?

You may have this already, a possible marriage for John:
1886 MITCHELL JOHN/ WARD & CATHERINE ANDERSTON GLASGOW CITY/LANARK 644/10 0015
Young love perhaps Also the only marriage showing in Scotland between 1881-1931.

Thanks guys Yep joe i had that and think i had marriage for francis the son Frincis and Ann were both born in Ireland but dont know where I can only surmise that john went to work in Dumbarton and i am sure at one piont in west princes st Helensburgh but some info seems to be missing from my tree,
Thanks for that Monica I dont have marriage details for him dont know how i have wife and no marraige
