McCutcheon/McFarland/Maguire - Omagh and area

Looking for any possible family connections or information in Northern Ireland in regards to these family names - McCutcheon, McFarland, Maguire..........

Mary McFarland (McFarlane?) was born about 1821 in Tyrone, Ireland; died October 8, 1899; age 78 in Paris, Ontario, Canada. So born about 1821.

William McCutcheon, her son born October 15, 1869 (?), returned to Ireland & brought his Mother to Canada April 20, 1894 - believe her husband John McCutcheon to be deceased before this date Also supposedly born somewhere in Tyrone. John and Mary were probably married in the 1840/50's.Huh There was also a son named Samuel (birth ?) who came to Canada with William around 1886/1887 and disappeared west somewhere.

Anyone having any knowledge of John McCutcheon, his wife Mary McFarland or their children, please contact me. I would greatly appreciate any information at all on these Irish ancestors.

Also looking for information on my Maguire ancestors from the Omagh, Tyrone area -

Catherine Maguire (circa 1846 to 1902 Killycurragh), the daughter of Edward Maguire (circa 1822 to 1889 Killycurragh) and Anna Campbell. Catherine was my Great Great Grandmother and information seems to prove that she NEVER married but did produce 6 (maybe 7) children despite having no husband. One of her daughters was my Great Grandmother. Known children were Elizabeth, Mary, Ellen, William Stewart, James and Charles. Ellen (1868) [& possibly Elizabeth (1862?) & Mary (1865?)] were born in Omagh, William (1872) & James (1875) were born in Ballynamullen, not sure where or when Charles was born.

Edward Maguire and Anna Campbell had these known children - James E. (1831), Charles (1835), Edward (1837), Stewart (1845), and Catherine (1846?). The 4 sons emigrated to the US mid 1800's and raised families in the Indianna area - believe Catherine was the only one to stay in Tyrone. It is also believed that Edward and Anna may have lived in the area of Drumnakilly and are possibly buried in the churchyard of the Drumnakilly C of I. Any info about these Maguires greatly appreciated.

My Great Grandmother's brother, James Maguire (son of Catherine) was married in the Parish Church of Lower Langfield, Tyrone on November 26, 1907. James gave his residence at the time of marrage as Carrickamulkin. One of the witnesses to his marriage was a Robert McCutcheon of Carrichamulkin, Drunquin (spellings as best as can decipher). By this date, my Great Grandmother, Mary Maguire was already married in Canada to a William McCutcheon.

I would like any information that anyone could find or has on the Robert McCutcheon on James Maguire's marriage registration - OR any McCutcheon's from the area mentioned. I have been trying to find the Irish origins of my Great Grandfather, William McCutcheon with little luck and I am hoping that possibly there might be a family connection between him and this Robert.

If you have any connection to any of the above Families, I would appreciate hearing from you.

THANKS

Ken Hartley Paris, Ontario Canada

Hi Ken

Sorry we haven't been able to help you so far on this one.

Have you made any progress,  or do you have any further details that could help someone to find what you are looking for?

Look forward to hearing from you.
