1. Is anyone connected to this family? Smiley

My friend used to live next to the Parish Church.

Where they descended from the Barker Shoe family.

I know that in Jeyes the Chemist on the village square there is a small area
that holds some records for Earls Barton.

Do you now whether they were non-conformists as there was quite a large
community of different religions there.

Many thanks. I'll look at those sites tomorrow - the spa is calling!
My main interest is the FAIREY line so I am now filling in the gaps of their spouses details.
How fascinating that your friend  lived nextdoor to the Church. Perhaps she could move back & search the Register for me? Grin
I have no evidence that they changed from Cof E but who knows? And I am only beginning to find details about the Barkers but it looks like George was a shoemaker.
