GRRRRRR stupid updates...I need help

Hi All,

I have just downloaded (after the third attempt!!) the Microsoft Service Pack 2 for XP.
It has taken ages, and just as it got to the final bits of the install, it stopped....it just got totally stuk, and then Ihad to restart the PC.
I have tried to download again, but Microsoft site won't load up...I am sure the Service Pack is on my PC somewhere, as the download completed, but I need to know where it will be, and how to get it installed.
My head is killing with the stupid thing.

Can you help?,

Have a look in add/remove programs to see if installed correctly.

One way of checking is to look in:

Start->Settings-Control Panel->Add or Remove Programs

Check the Show Updates box and wait for it to be populated.

It should show up there as Windows XP SP 2 if it was successfully installed.

You can also RIGHT click 'My Computer' on your desktop...then click 'Properties'......you should be able to see if your SP2 installed...
