 Grin Yep, saw that bit..  I made the picture smaller, so much I could hardly see it properly. Huh Perhaps smaller in some other way.. is needed. 

                 OR
     I noticed also the bmp versus jpeg bit. My camera loads by the jpeg to the flowers that I record, loads of them. But my family tree stuff is in files that are off the scanner or as emails in the other bmp thingy.
                  If I transfer these to a file like paint that is a graphic, I can't get across to the jpeg whatsit.... Duh  Huh.

    I might just go and ... Cool

I always use IirfanView for general resizing and conversion (Tutorial, Section 1)

Costs nothing to download and is so handy for this sort of stuff.
