I have some Beals, they originated from Cornwall, and are in Calstock in 1851 and 1861. Any of yours come from Calstock?

Hi, wildkarre.  I have BAWDEN / BOWDEN in the Linkinhorne area; they married into my DAWE line.  As well, Joseph Peace (Pease) married Ann Dawe in 1844.  They had seven children.   Ann was from Linkinhorne, Joseph was from Roche, which is south of Bodmin.

Don't know if either of these names will match your lines.  I always thought population was light in the 1800's until I got involved in genealogy.  It's amazing how many people had the same last name.

Hi, I'd fogotten about the lines that had married into DAWE besides BAWDEN.  In the prior generation GILL, PEARSE/PEARCE from Roche (south of Bodmin), and another BAWDEN married DAWE siblings.

In the following generations, the father married LEMING, from Trewen.  In Cornwall, one daughter married HARRIS, I think from the Liskeard area.  A son, Albert Henry, marry a THOMAS girl from Calstock, CON - they both lived in Lanca. at the time.

But most of the family came from the area in and around Linkinhorne.  RedFox

Their is alot of Eddy info on line if you wish to private message me I could send a link to a website with a huge data base.

I have Eddy's from Paul & St Just & Roberts from St Just & Richards from Madron but am looking for more info. Roots Web has Family tree's on it which you can search & download for free but would always double check the info, as I have seen what I believe to be errors, although excellent info there too.

There is a Harding-Bowden marriage in my database, though it might be in Devon. I have Ann HARDING from Buckland Brewer (Dev) married to a Jeremiah BOWDEN in 1821; also in Buckland Brewer. However my Harding went to from there to Cornwall, so you never know.

Do you have any relatives by the name of Edward Hall in your list possibly a middle name of Waters?
He came out to New Zealand in the mid 1800's and was married in Hokitika in 1877 to a Mary McCarthy. A long shot I know and I know nothing else of him.
Thanks
