Hi,
This is a long shot.
I am looking for information about the parents, siblings and children of Eliza Rossiter who married Thomas Lloyd on 4th July 1827 at St Michaels, Bristol.
Thomas was born circa 1798 at Llandegfan, Anglesey but I have no information on Eliza.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

Avon Court [I think this is part of Nova Scotia Wharf]
Thomas J Lloyd 44 mariner NO
Eliza 32 NO
Elizabeth 15 Yes
Esther 6 Yes
Can't see them on the 1851.

Hi,
Seems to be a problem with the date of the marriage of Thomas Lloyd and Eliza Rossiter.The date I gave you comes from PR's transcriptions by the BAFHS.So maybe you need a check in the records.

Hi alli / joburg,
Many thanks for all the information. I'll attempt to assemble the data into a family tree structure in my database.
The info I had was that Eliza came from Bristol which explains the marriage at St Michaels. Just wondering how it was that she married in Bristol when she was born in Reading, Berkshire.
I'll post for her in the Berkshire Lookups. Maybe it will turn up a baptism record which names her parents.

Checked out Edith Chittenden and found her in the 1881 Census here:-

I'm assuming that Frances is another daughter of Eliza Rossiter Lloyd. Does that match with the records you have access to please?
Also found a marriage for Eleanor Elizabeth to Thomas Griffiths in the March Qtr of 1857 at Conway Registration District which matches well with the dates for Ada & Florence Griffiths.
