Hi to all who are interested in the CRAZE surname.
A recently found rellie has linked one of her CRAZE rellies to my URENs and she has sent me quite a bit of information regarding the CRAZE family starting with Thomas CRAZE b. 1723 in Redruth, Cornwall - far too much for me to re-type on the Board.
So if anyone is interested please let me know and I will send you a copy via email. Obviously, leave your email address in my P.M. and I will send the details through ASAP.
You may or may not already have this information - I don't know - but thought it would be a good idea to let you all know, just in case it will help you.
Regards CP

A point I forgot to mention is this:
CRAZE married into the JEFFREY family and they eventually established themselves in Penetanguishane, Ontario, Canada. There is a book written about this family called "This Was Yesterday" by John Bayfield and Carol Genow, published in 1982.
For anyone who is interested ....................... you never know !!!

Back again - Forgive me for my slackness but I've been swimming all day with my 3 grandsons and they've worn me out. I should have added this information in the beginning:
These people listed above are from various parts of Cornwall, Scotland, Michigan USA, Cape Colony (South Africa) - her surname is not shown unfortunately but every bit helps , London and Australia.

With a list like that you must be related to half of Cornwall!
You even have some overlaps with me

LOL Rod - NO, I'm only related through the one UREN marriage. It's not a name that I am researching.
I had noticed a few people searching for CRAZE information both on this site and others, and I thought it would be a good idea to share the information given to me, with others who are researching this name.
So I take it you don't need any information then??

G'day Kattyia,
I have forwarded the list to you, via email, as requested.
Hope there's something of interest to you on there. There's always a little "gem" hidden somewhere, don't you think?
Regards, CP

Yes it certainly is. Personally, I think that everyone who is researching any name, should always try to share their information with others. I sometimes read messages on other sites where people are looking for ancestors and it's such a shame that they DON'T think to look at other sites sometimes - they seem to have tunnel vision - there is just SO much information out there but ...... we can all help each other by posting as much as we can.
Hugs CP

G'day Karen,
I am soooooooo pleased that the information helped you. It makes me very happy.
Hugs, Corny
P.S. MESSAGE TO ANYONE WANTING INFORMATION:
I have RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) and I blame my ancestors LOL. Too much typing for too many hours. So, I won't be able to send emails or post anything for a little while. I have to behave myself and stay off the computer. Hard yakka, that, because it's driving me insane - so much to do. I am only able to read but not type.
Thought I would leave this message in case anyone else needs information, just leave a message and I will always get back to you as soon as my arms and hands are better.
Miss you all in the Chatroom - hope you're all behaving NOT !!! LOL

Hi Cornish
So sorry to hear about the RSI, how awful not to be able to use the computer! Hope it starts to get better soon.
My mum is a Craze, and my cousin has been researching that branch of the tree. Any additional information would be great. Do not attempt to reply, I am just leaving this message in the queue for when you get better again
I also notice you have a "Williams" in your list of names, from Cornwall and South Africa areas. Just wondering if you have an Ellen Williams, sister of Thomas John Williams of St Erth, Cornwall. In his obituary she was listed as living in South Africa. Just thought I'd ask on the offchance. Again, do not reply until you are better, it is not urgent. Oh dear, I sound very bossy.
All my best wishes for a speedy recovery, from rainy Cornwall.
