Hi, Would any one have any idea of when this photo may have be taken. I believe it to be of my great, great grandparents CROOK.

I would say around the early-mid 1890s.  This is based on the lady's puffy sleeves and hairstyle.  Her lace collar is not really of that period, but earlier I think.  Maybe she just liked it and wore it anyway  Smiley

Totally agree with Prue, the full length sleeve down to the wrist with the "puff" to the upper arm was in vogue til 1897 when it seemed to disappear over night. The way the fringe and rest of the hair is styled would indicate a period before 1896 when the pompadour hair style started to come into fashion.
