Hi all
I'm looking for the parents of the above. He was born in Stow on the Wold in @1820, may have brothers called Solomon, Sampson & David.
Any help gratefully recieved

In the 1841 Census, I found a David Hyde bc1823 in Stow-On-The-Wold -

William MASON born in county c1761
William MASON Jr born in county c1796
Mary MASON born in county c1801
Elizabeth MASON not born in county 1833
David HYDE born in county c1823 Male Servant
Mary COOK born in county c1824 Female Servant

Can't see Hercules, Solomon or Sampson yet.

A Hercules Hyde b c1820 Stow married to Jemima  & living in Stow appears in the 1861 + 1871 Censuses; do you have those?

And there is a Sampson Hyde b c 1824-1827 in Stow on The Wold according to which Census married to Anna/Hannah in 51, 61, 71, 81, 91 and 1901 Censuses resident in the Stow area.

Breast plough is correct, it was a specific type of agricultural implement for removing surface vegetation
