1828 McCann's ties to Meath
« on: Tuesday 27 February 07 14:38 GMT (UK) »

Searching for ties to John McCann said to be from "Eastmeath" -- born in 1828 -- I see McCann name appears in Louth and haven't found my John McCann ties in Meath as yet -- anyone in Louth with McCann history that may tie to John McCann from "Eastmeath" ? John may have had a younger sister Margaret and if he used traditional Irish naming patterns for his children then his parents could be Matthew & Margaret McCann. He arrived in USA ~1847 -- Thanks, Patrick M. McCann, USA
