I am trying to discover the children of James and Mary Ritson who in the 1841 Census were both 55 years old and living at Wood Farm In Whinfell. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Thanks everyone, that is very helpful. I was hoping to find that the James Ritson of Wood Farm, Whinfell (in 1841) was the Father of John Ritson who lived nextdoor at Wood Farm in the same census. There was a 25 year age gap between them. Also at John's house on the night of the 1841 census was a Mrs. Sarah Ostle (born about 1822 in Workington) and her daughter 13 year old Jane Ostle. I was wondering if Sarah might have been a Ritson before she married Joseph Ostle. Maybe coincidentally, in the 1871 census John Ritson was living at Hill Farm, Blindbothel and the Joseph and Sarah Ostle family lived in the next house on the census in Brandlingill. I really do appreciate the help, as living in the U.S. I am pretty much restricted to the information available on the Internet.
