Dear Rootschatters, Hi there. I would dearly love it if somebody could have a go at tidying up my gg grandparents ... Ernst JAHN 1851~1908 and his wife Elizabeth HANSFORD 1854~1923.

Dear Caroline,
Thank you again for these two pics. Background does look kind of liquidy doesn't it? I thought it was material as well.
Even though photograph is restored it still can't hide the look in the eyes of this gg grandmother of mine. I think she had a very tough life. She died 15 years after her husband at age 71yrs.
Not even flowers in the background and added colour could lift it I guess.
