Disappearing VALLIS Family - Long Bredy??

I've been searching for a Vallis family - they where certainly reported to me as a Vallis family found on the 1851 .... but I hadn't got any other cross-references.

Salman Vallis b1797
Henster Vallis b1798
Salah (m-i-law) b1784
John (son) b1833
Elias (son) b1835
Henry (g/s) b1847
Fanez (g/d) b1849
Emma (g/d) b1850
Savina (g/d) b1850

However, today I came across the Dorset OPC site and it had a transcription of the 1851 Census....and I found this...

Long Bredy

Lavinia VALLENS Grand daur 6 Scholar Dorset Dorchester
Henry VALLENS Grand son 4 Scholar Dorset Dorchester
Fanny VALLENS Grand daur 2 Dorset Longbredy
Emma VALLENS Grand daur 1 Dorset Longbredy

I'd appreciate if some kind Forumite could have a look at the original images and figure out what the real surname is please - Vallens/Vallis or something else.....and / or alternatively see if they can be found on the 1861 please??

There is a history in the early 1700's of a few other Samuel Vallis's in the Dorset area (i.e. Melcombe Regis & Sherborne areas)

Shocking Entry HiFly, things crossed out everywhere but I would say VALLENS. They are lost in 1861 also  Roll Eyes but found in 1841

There is are quite a few with some version of Vallens showing born in Long Bredy or like...Elizabeth  28 b a servant in Dorchester
James 25 b married in Cattistock, Martin 21 a servant, Elivia 18 a servant and a Richard 67 in Wyke Regis

I've just done a quick check on FreeBMD between 1837-1920 and VALLENS is nearly exclusively contained within locality of the Dorchester / Weymouth reg districts....
