George STAGG married Ann WILTON Yeovil Dec qtr 1849. In 1851 they were in Montacute, with a son Theophilus. She was aged 26, born Montacute.

Trying to establish her parentage.

She appears to have died by 1858 as George remarries to a Harriet COX.

1841 not much help, HO107/960/3 fol.35 p.14  Townsend, Montacute
in household of James Harris  & family
Ann Wilton  15  born in county

IGI has a baptism 20 Jun 1824 parents Robert Wilton & Elizabeth Denman, will see if I can find them

In the short time this has been up have been advised that Ann was daughter of Edmund WILTON and Hannah HAHN, bapt Nov 1824.

Was hoping it was Robert and Elizabeth, but sadly no.

There are lots of Wiltons in Montacute, but no Edmund, several Hannahs to choose from, do you know of any siblings to Ann?  Have just found another Ann 15ish with mother Hannah - same ref as before fol.22 p.13 Borough, Montacute
