Yess    Grin    Well Done - don't know if it helps though

I have just found another bit in 1841  in Grove Street Wantage
John Eustace 75 Gardener Y
Sarah Eustace 55 Y
Harriot Eustace 13 Y
Ann Lawrence 19 spinner Y

this ties in with the Ann baptised in 1823 d/o Benjamin & Sarah

Well done you too!
The pieces are fitting in the puzzle nicely- I like the one, Ann born 1823 to Benjamin and Sarah ................ Wonder if on Annes birth Benjamin is a weaver?

No I am afraid Benjamin is given as a labourer on the baptisms - however given that he had died  in 1823 they may not have been sure of his occupation

I forgot to say that William lived in Tanner Street for a good 20 years and also the family lived in Mill street Wantage for some time. Hope this helps. Have you viewed Annes baptism? Smiley

This occupation for Benjamin appears on Williams marr. cert. 1844 and it doesn't say Benjamin is deceased but I know that they didn't always put that but he could have been a labourer early on or the other way round. Oh time to have a break- I'm getting in a pickle now and talking gibberish. Lips Sealed
