Is anyone related to Mr Charles Danher of Bickerstaff post office
« on: Tuesday 06 March 07 14:55 UTC (UK) »

Hi
the above is no relation to me,but i have been scouring the charity shops the last couple of weeks for 1960/70 cookery books.I got two last week and another two this morning,at the back of one of them "Farmhouse Kitchen" published in 1977.The last owner has kept recipe cuttings from newspapers stuck in the back of the book.By chance i turned one over, and there is part of a coroners report on Mr Charles Danher who died in a car accident on August 15th in Lyelake Lane. Lathom. The cuttings are yellow with age. So this was most probably reported in 1977 or later.
