i am trying to trace a mackay family on mull, the decendents of a Jane Mackay, born in Scourie Sutherland 1848 she was a daughter of Donald Mackay and Mary Ann Munro. She married Robert Mackay and they moved to Unst, Shetland where Robert was a shepherd. They had 10 children, some emegrated and some moved to Mull. Jane died at Ballymeanachand was buried in Knock cemeteryin 1918. Jane was a sister of my g.grandfather George
