Hello,
I wonder if some one could look up baptisms of Elizabeth marshall born c1730's and Sarah Marshall c1732.
Trying to establish who their parents were.
Thankyou

Are you expecting them to be siblings?

Elizabeth Marshall baptised 9 Mar 1734
Sarah Marshall baptised 18 Jun 1738

Both baptised in Alverstoke, parents Richard and Ann Marshall.  There don't appear to be any other possibles.  Other children: Mary, Ann, Hannah, Richard, David, Eleanor and maybe Fanny.

Richard Marshall married Ann Moor 29 Jul 1733 Gosport, Holy Trinity.

A Richard Marshall was buried in Alverstoke 25 Feb 1779 aged 71
An Ann Marshall, wife of Richard was buried in Alverstoke 8 Jul 1770.  No age given.

Hello Nell,

Yes, i was trying to establish whether they were siblings.
It was just something else i was searching for and thought "i wonder".
This has happened to me later on for a direct line from this area
Talk about being close knit they seem to have skipped a generation and married  cousins so confusing.
Will have fun explaining this to my family .......
Anway thankyou so much for this Smiley
