Hi, Look up request for Thomas Hill please.
I think he was born 1800circa in the Bosbury,Herefordshire area.
I know he had a daughter (Caroline Hill, Born circa 1830)
Looking for his birth,marriage, death details,wife ,children etc.
There were a lot of thomas hill,s so its a minefield.

No obvious candidates yet in 1841.
Do you know who Caroline married? Have you got the cert?
There is a possible Thomas in 1851 ag lab married to Elizabeth and with children James and Ann still at home. Also granddaughter Harriet DANIEL. Does this sound likely?

27/11/1851,at bosbury trinity church,james mason age 27,labourer,caroline hill,servant, 18.James dad Joseph Mason (labourer), Carolines dad Thomas Hill (labourer).Both James & Caroline from old country , bosbury.Witnesses Joseph & ann Brydges..

caroline was born 1835 according to her death cert.
Yes - rueful grin - just trying to find a Caroline that is remotely like yours!
The 1841 doesn't give relationships, so EBNs marriages are really helpful - could be that the Thomas & Jane I gave above are a couple, rather than siblings?

Regarding the witnesses to Caroline's marriage, I can find a likely couple in 1851 and 1861 in Cradley - they have no children of their own (an adopted son in one). There is also at least one HILL family in Cradley, but no link that I can see.
The 1841 Caroline with the MORVERN family is still with them in 1851, described as a lodger she is 14 and born Bishops Frome.
