Anyone missing a John Watts from Cropredy??
« on: Monday 12 March 07 09:33 GMT (UK) »

Hello peeps,

While visiting the Glos Records Office this weekend I was looking at the Didmarton Parish Register (what's this got to do with Cropredy I hear you ask?) Well at the beginning of the book was a note which read:

"The man found dead in a field and buried April 19th 1754 since appears to be one John Watts from the parish of Cropredy in the County of Oxford."

So if anyone is missing John, that seems to be where he ended up. A bit of a mystery by the sounds of it.
