Cannot Find Birth Registration

Hi guys

I'm struggling with my Vernum/Venom/Venam/Verham etc etc family.

I'm trying to find the births of two of their children ssen in bold.

Here is the family in 1851

1851 Rhyall Census

Frederic Vernum Head M 38 Horse dealer Swannington, Leic
Sophia Wife 34 Bury, Hunts
William 16 Pidley, Hunts
John 13 Butchers serv Stanground, Hunts
Harriet 12 Scholar Stanground, Hunts
Mahala 10 Ryhall, Rut
Hannah 8 Ryhall, Rut
Frederic 6 Ryhall, Rut
Emma 3 Ryhall, Rut

I have searched free bmd and tried all sorts of variations but came up with nothing. 

Can someone help?

The coverage on FreeBMD is improving all the time but it is not yet full for every year.  You will have to look at the fulll GRO index.   It is free to search on www.ancestry.co.uk   Choose the complete version.

It's also quite possible that being in the early days of civil registration their births weren't registered at all, in which case you may need to view Standground parish register to see if they were baptised there. Fortunately it has been filmed by the LDS (unlike many in Hunts) although it's not been extracted onto either IGI or BVRI, nor a is a transcription available from Hunts FHS
