They are ancestors of mine and I would love know what incensed them so much during a wedding ceremony that they attacked the vicar!

Can anyone tell me where I would find the details please?

Thank you.

Hello Bev,

I recently noticed your article about David Thomas Ambrose and William Thomas Ambrose.

I am a descendant of the Ambrose family from Llanfynydd.

Did you find out what happened at LLanfynydd Church.

Regards
Hywel

Hi Hywel,

Not enough, I'm afraid.  Cry

My father went to Aberystwyth and looked at the original documents but there were no more details than I had already found (above).

The vicar said he would ask the archivist to find out whose wedding was in progress at the time but unfortunately we haven't heard any more from him.

We haven't given up though, and we live in hope of finding out some more.  Grin

If you want to send me a PM and tell me how you are related, we have quite a lot of info on the Ambroses we can share with you - my dad would be very interested to know the relationship.

On second thoughts, I'll send you a PM with my e-mail address, so you can get in touch.

Best wishes
