I only thought of it because I know of some relatives of himself who normally lived in Lancashire, but who were found on the Isle of Wight at census time. I believe there was TB in the family.

Hi,
He could have been in St Catherine's Home or the hospital in Ventnor, these were in the Godshill registration district

Hello Sandie..did you find out about the hospital ?? I live in Ventnor where the TB hospital used to be. It was a magnificent building that was knocked down in the 60's and is now the Botanic gardens.There is a lot written about it. If you need any info I can try to find out more Regards Jacki
