Will some kind person enlighten me and explain how an EXTRA becomes something more...... I am trying....... yes I know I'm very trying/
One other question When I post a thread it appears with little greenish Badge  and seems to remain there regardless of whether anybody reads it    I would like a blue badge please

Messages posted to the boards with the exception (I think) of the Lighter side and The even Lighter side count towards your ranking ...... The more you contribute the more your ranking goes up.

The number of stars you have goes up with the number of posts you make, except those on the Lighter Side boards do not count.  Back in June I used to be first a pioneer, then an extra.  Now look at me, a veteran - is this what being a rootschatter does for me. Shocked
