Has any one got access to electoral roll, telephone or other directories for Blandford in 1939?
I am trying to track a family down who were staying at no 1 East Street, Blandford, where a baby was born.
I would like to find out who was the actual owner/occupier then.
If no-one has this information, what is the best way of finding out?
Would also like to know owners/occupiers of Fisher's Row, Blandford in 1907, where a baby was also born, usual address of informant (the father) given as Bournemouth.
Possibly both of these babies parent's had gone to stay with family or friends for the birth itself, and I am hoping to find a family connection.

Have you tried www.historicaldirectories.org? They have loads of different directories such as Kelly's and Post Office.

Rosie, I have tried there, nothing for the dates/addresses I am looking for, unfortunately, though Kelly's Directory 1915 does have Edward John Hayward, Grocer, 35, East Street, Blandford.
It is no 1 East Street I would like details for, but Hayward is a possibility for a name I am looking for.
