can anyone help my great grandfather benjamin phillip taylor was born in hamsterley durham in 1856 his birth certificate has william taylor and mary taylor maiden name topping as his parents i have them on the 1851 census living in wigton with sons alfred taylor george taylor william taylor then in 1861 durham where mary married again because william had died between 1856 1860 i am looking for the marriage of william taylor born essex 1824 and mary topping born 1823 wigton  and the death of william not sure if it was in cumbria or durham

hi thanks ive just been on this site but still having trouble finding them william taylor was born in essex 1825 so he would only be about 35 years old when he died could be durham area this site was interesting though thanks i will keep trying

found the death of william taylor he died 1858 in bishop auckland durham

found williams death in durham but still having trouble finding the marriage of william taylor and mary topping unless she married twice I am sure It would be In cumbria .also Iam trying to find her parents marriage joseph topping born 1785 wigton to an  elizabeth born 1785 westmoorland,on the 1841 census they are living in wigton and 1851 hudsons factory wigton, joseph was a cotton weaver barber they had a few children which I have found on the igi earliest was eleanor 1815 and george topping 1816 then john and also mary topping was born in wigton 1823

please help ,I am still trying to find a marriage for william taylor born essex 1824 and mary topping born wigton 1823 ,I have now bought all 4 birth certificates of there children
alfred taylor born 4/1/1846 backhouses walk english street carlisle
george taylor born 8/1/1848 5 marlborough court leeds
william taylor born 8/6/ 1850 orsett
benjamin phillip taylor 1856 bishop auckland durham
all birth certificates have father william taylor mother mary taylor formerly topping
I did purchase a marriage certificate for a mary topping 1845 carlisle but this was to a john william dixon and in the 1851 It loks like this mary is still with john dixon and my mary is still with william taylor living in wigton
when william died in durham 1858 mary married a david smith I bought this marriage certificate but It has may taylor formerly may topping father joseph topping occupation a barber
