Hi can anyone find Patrick Sloan born Ireland c 1842 in the 1861 census for Cumbria (?? Cleator). His father was called Hugh. Patrick was married in Cumbria in 1869 to Suzannah Fitzpatrick, father Daniel. Is she on the 1861 census? Many thanks Deb

Hi

I can see one in Cleator but dad is not Hugh, actually Francis  Huh

The other one I can see is a lodger in the household of James Slone, but he is born 1837 Undecided

Hi

Patrick may have come to England without his father.  Also - on the 1871 census he is 31 so a birthyear of 1840

No trace of Susan(nah) in 1861
