1841 Census - Rebecca Mealing
« on: Monday 19 March 07 19:52 GMT (UK) »

Hi,
I am looking for the 1841 Census family entry for Rebecca Mealing born Wycombe circa 1825, and whose age should be 15 or 16 at 1841.

Thanks in advance

Thanks Joe,
This is a really interesting entry. Does the census give relationships with the head. Could I be right in assuming that William Wilkinson is Rebecca's Brother-in-law?

Hi Roberts

The 1841 does not give relationships unfortunatly only who was in the house on cencus night.

I was curious myself as to whether Rebecca and Lucy were sisters and I had a quick look last night to see if i could see anything but nothing stood out so I will have another look at some point today and get back to you.

Joe,
Many thanks for your interest. As the family is a Bucks family one wonders if the parents have died or whether there are still Mealings in Hughenden?

Hi Joe,
Thanks for all your efforts. I have the details of the marriage. I guess any further research will have to be via the parish registers. That will have to be left to a family member closer to High Wycombe.
