Topic: Charlotte BALAAM - Who Are Her Parents? Help Needed (Read 305 times)

My 4 x grandmother Charlotte Balaam c1805 married John Rosher/rosier in Comb suffolk in 1822............I have not been able to find her parents.
I have had 2 differant sets a phillip balaam & elizabeth Flack and another samuel balaam & susannah bungay this last couple are supposed to have married in Old Newton and had several children but cant find any trace.
would the registers for combs have parents listed?
anyone got registers for Old Newton,
any ideas gratefully received

Hi Sandie
Baptismal records of this date would contain the names of the parents, but not necessarily the maiden surname of the mother. Lookups from the Combs and Old Newton Parish Records are available from volunteers at The Suffolk Surname List.

Hi Monique
we have been in touch and you have sent me your file, but as I said I have conflicting info from another Rosher, one I know you have also spoke to about another branch in your file.
By way you also have one piece incorrect about my family, I did email will pm you................your file has been so useful for me and I know lots of others I wouldnt have anywhere as much info which I have proved without you.............................I just have a need to prove Charlottes birth, did your informant give any proof?

Could you email the corrections to your bit of the tree.. i may have already done theem as the website on Ray Longs wonderful site
www.cosford-database.co.uk which is now about 2 or 3 years out of date.. but if you send me the info again i can check my files.
