The Gables, Ashurst Road, Sutton Coldfield

Does anyone know if The Gables, Ashurst Road, off Walmley Ash Road, Sutton Coldfield was a private house in 1919 and if so the name of the family who lived there.

I assume that you know that it is currently a residential home.

Perhaps you could ring them, if you haven't already, and ask if the current owners have any information.

Yes I have only recently found out that it is a residential home.  The address my grandmother gave on her marriage certificate was The Gables, Walmley Road so I presume it's the same place and as I don't think she came from a well to do family she was probably working there.  I will get in touch with them as you suggest.  Thanks.
