Difficulty finding a birth
« on: Wednesday 21 March 07 11:42 GMT (UK) »

I am having trouble finding a birth record for the following individual

on the 1901 census she is Daisy F Seager, born about 1900, she is in the household as a grandaughter of Arthur Seager, her mother is the Beatrice Seager also in the household.

I have searched for a birth but cannot find one.  There is a birth for a Daisy Seager in the first quarter of 1900, but I have the certificate for this one and she has parents named Arthur Seager and Eunice, who can be found on the 1901 census with a Daisy listed as their daughter.

So..does anyone have any ideas.  I have searched on other spellings of the surname, i.e Segger(s), Seger(s), segar(s) etc, but come up with nothing.

Any help or pointers on where to look next would be very much appreciated!

Anne
