H.M.S. Conway
« on: Wednesday 21 March 07 15:11 UTC (UK) »

Hi,
Anyone know if there is a site where I can look up the names of cadets on the Conway, with particular reference to the time the ship was on the Mersey Bar?
Many thanks

Hi Halj,
As far as I'm aware HMS Conway was either stationed in the River Mersey, up to WW2 , or in the Menai Strait off Plas Newydd until her demise in 1951. She was never staitioned at the Mersey Bar, the position not suitable for her role as a training ship.
I googled HMS Conway and came up with their site which has a forum, so maybe you will be able to get help there.
You haven't mentioned any names or dates, which always helps those of whom you are asking questions.
Regards

HMS Conway was a training ship based in the River Mersey.
