"The Well Players" and Cork

This is a long shot, but does anyone have any information on an amateur dramatic group from around the 1940s/50s known as 'The Well Players"? My understanding is that they met up at St Vincent's Church, Sunday's Well. One of my ancestors was a member and I am keen to find out more.

WHy don't you write to the Irish Examiner (the Cork based national newspaper) and get them to publish a letter. I bet someone will fill you in.
