Thanks to Gwynne, I now know that William Gwynne, was born Wroxeter, where I have been looking Dawley.

On the IGI there is a christening 24.08.14 Saint Leonards, Bridgnorth. Could this be Wroxeter ?

Thanks
Jean

Hi Jeanp

I found this entry on the IGI and there is a slight chance that he MIGHT be yours:-

Event(s):
 Birth:   Abt. 1821

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Parents:

You will see that the birth is Atcham which is in Shropshire.

I found this on the GENUKI site:-
